INGREDIENTS
1/2 pound dried figs
chopped 1 cup apple cider 1/4 cup honey 1 orange, zested 1 cup fresh or prepared whipped cream, for serving
METHOD
1) Place figs, cider, honey, and orange zest in a small pot; cover and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce to a simmer and uncover; lower to a simmer and cook until figs are plump and liquid is syrupy, about 15 minutes.

2) Serve warm or cold over whipped cream.
