INGREDIENTS
6 medium size tomatoes(chopped)
1 cup basmati rice(washed)
2 large onions(chopped)
4 cloves
3 bay leaves
2cm ginger piece
10 mint leaves
5 cashew nuts
½ cup ghee
Salt to taste
FOR PASTE
7 garlic flakes
6 cloves
2cm cinnamon piese
½ onion, chopped
1 cup grated coconut
10 red chillies
3 peppers
METHOD
Soak the Basmati Rice for 20 minutes in water. Drain the water.

Grind all the ingredients for paste with little water. Keep aside.

Take a pan, add  ghee, fry the cashews,cloves, bay leaves and onions till golden brown, then add the tomatoes and cook well till soft.

Put the ground mixture. Fry for 5 minutes. Add rice and mix well.

Add 2 cups of hot water. Cook till Rice is done.

Garnish with mint leaves
