INGREDIENTS
1/2 kg paneer
50g green peas
1/2 kg tomatoes
1/2 cup cream
100g butter
salt and pepper to taste
100g grated cottage cheese for garnishing
a few coriander leaves
For chutney:mint leaves 1 bunch
juice of 1 lemon
green chili
salt and pepper to taste
METHOD
Grind all ingredients to a paste and keep aside.

Mix together all ingredients to make a paste of dripping consistency and keep aside.

Cut cottage cheese into rectangular pieces 3/4 inches in thickness.

Slit them halfway and stuff with the green chutney.Dip pieces one by one in gram flour batter and deep fry to a golden brown.

Prepare the tomato gravy by blanching tomatoes and then grinding them to a paste.Strain the tomato puree and keep aside.

In a vessel,heat the butter and saute the tomato to puree for some time.

Add the cream,a little gram masala powder,a few chopped green chilies and salt to taste.When well cooked,add the batter fried paneer.Stir to mix well.

Just before serving,add cooked green peas and garnish the dish with grated cottage cheese.


Serve hot with rice or chapatties.
