Grease 2 of 2 inch deep 12- hole patty pan trays. Using a 7 cm- fluted cutter cut out 24 rounds from pastry and press into the prepared pans.
Place condensed milk, golden syrup and butter in a small pan. Stir over medium fire for a few minutes or until mixture thickens slightly; cool. Stir in cream and nuts. Spoon one tablespoon of mixture into each pastry round.
Cook in a moderate oven; 180 C, for approximately 25 minutes or until set. Remove from oven, cool on wire rack.
